Pushing for a Participatory Budget

FLM helped lead efforts with the People’s Budget Coalition to speak out for a better budgeting process in Oklahoma City. Specifically, we call for additional funding for mental health crisis response, parks and recreation centers, public transportation, and violence prevention—proven community safety strategies outside of policing.
