Global Vision Specialist

Position Overview:

The Global Vision Specialist has a strong awareness of global issues and critically engages with the changing global climate. This position will create engaging content in a rapid response format to current happenings in the world. This position will also assist and curate programs that drive forward GVI’s work around internationalism. The Global Vision Specialist will assist in current projects of GVI including the creation of educational videos, writing of articles, and organizing educational webinars and other events. All applicants will have the flexibility to create new and innovative practices to drive forward the vision of FLM and the Global Vision Initiative. 

Position Responsibilities: (Workload: 5-8 hrs/wk)

  • Assist in Global Vision Initiative’s content creation and curation

  • Research and review literature related to global trends

  • Assist in direct and editing videos

  • Manage GVI’s media presence

  • Collaborate with other FLM teams

  • Attend weekly Global Vision meetings 

Required Skills & Experiences:

  • Strong research and writing capabilities

  • Familiarity with global news and media outlets 

  • Communication skills

  • Interested in international and intercultural understanding

  • Efficient worker 

  • Ability to accept critique as a tool to grow and improve in conjunction with other team members 

Preferred Skills:

  • Social media content creation
